Customization Optional
The insulation class meets the requirements of Class A (105°C), Class B (130°C), and Class F (155°C) to meet different operating temperature requirements. The insulation medium can be selected from mineral oil, silicone oil, and natural ester (FR3 environmentally friendly oil) according to environmental requirements. The lightning impulse level (BIL) can be selected from 75kV, 95kV, 125kV or higher to ensure the reliability of the transformer under lightning and switch overvoltage conditions.
NPC ELECTRIC'S 15kVA Conventional Type Single Phase pole Mounted transformer can provide a variety of optional specifications according to customer needs, including different voltage levels, insulation materials, cooling methods, protection levels, protection devices, remote monitoring functions, etc. These options can improve the adaptability of the transformer, making it suitable for different grid standards, environmental conditions and smart grid requirements, ensuring efficient, reliable and long-term stable operation.
Packing and Shipping
Transformers are usually fixed with steel frames or wooden pallets to prevent tipping or sliding during transportation. Rubber pads or shockproof materials are installed at the bottom of the transformer to reduce the impact of vibration on the equipment. All terminals, bushings, valves and other components are protected by plastic covers or rubber seals to prevent dust and moisture from entering.
A clear product label (Nameplate) should be affixed to the packaging of each transformer, indicating the model, voltage level, weight, serial number and other information. The center of gravity (Center of Gravity), lifting points (Lifting Points) and storage direction (This Side Up) are marked on the packaging box to ensure correct handling. It is accompanied by a complete factory inspection report, packing list, installation manual and safety instructions, and placed in a waterproof sealed bag.
When choosing sea transportation, containers or flat racks are usually used for shipment. The transformer should be firmly fixed on the pallet to prevent displacement caused by sea turbulence. It is packed with moisture-proof and salt-spray-proof packaging, and coated with an anti-corrosion coating on the outside to prevent salt from corroding metal parts.
NPC ELECTRIC'S 15kVA Conventional Type Single Phase pole Mounted transformer adopts professional fixing, shockproof, moisture-proof and anti-corrosion measures during packaging and transportation to ensure that the equipment is always in the best condition before delivery to customers. Different modes of transportation (land, sea or air) will adopt corresponding protection plans, and strictly follow international packaging and safe transportation standards to minimize the risk of transportation damage and ensure that the transformer arrives safely at the installation site.

Manufacturer Test

Progress Test
During the manufacturing process of NPC ELECTRIC'S 15kVA Conventional Type Single Phase pole Mounted transformer, a series of progressive tests are carried out to ensure that the product meets the design specifications, industry standards (such as IEC 60076, ANSI C57.12.20) and customer requirements. These tests include raw material and component inspection, winding resistance test, short circuit impedance and load loss test, no-load loss and excitation current test. These tests are carried out throughout the different stages of production to verify the quality, performance and safety of materials, components and finished products.

Design Tests
All transformer will be test after finished the production, test items as below:
♦ Insulation Power Factor
♦ Ratio, Polarity, and Phase Relation
♦ Winding Resistance
♦ Impulse Tests
♦ On load Loss Test
♦ No Load Loss Test
♦ Leak Test
♦ DC Insulation Resistance Test
♦ Transformer Turns Ratio/TTR (All Tap Voltages)
♦ Impedance Voltage & Load Loss (Rated Voltage)
♦ Polarity, 1-Ph
♦ Excitation & No-Load Loss (Rated Voltage)
♦ Applied Voltage
♦ Induced Voltage
♦ Lightning Impulse
♦ Insulation Resistance (Rated Voltage)
♦ Temperature Rise
♦ Dielectric Withstand (Hipot)

Transformer Factory Acceptance Test
After NPC ELECTRIC'S 15kVA Conventional Type Single Phase pole Mounted transformer is manufactured, the factory will conduct a factory acceptance test (FAT) to ensure that the transformer meets the design specifications, international standards (such as IEC 60076, ANSI C57.12.20) and customer requirements. FAT ensures that the transformer has qualified electrical performance, insulation strength and operational reliability before delivery.
Routine Test - Applied Voltage
Voltage source: usually 1 kV, 5 kV, 10 kV, or customized according to customer needs
Temperature and humidity meter: used to record environmental conditions
Check the connection terminals and wiring to ensure that they are not loose or contaminated.
Test under suitable environmental conditions: relative humidity below 75% and no rain (recommended temperature: 20-30°C).
Properly connect the test equipment to the bushings or terminals of the device under test and ensure that all connection points are properly grounded.
Selecting the test voltage:
Select the appropriate applied voltage based on the rated voltage of the equipment.
Measuring leakage current
Applied voltage
Current stability
Any possible voltage fluctuations
The current value exceeded the allowable range and the equipment needs to be inspected or maintained (pending repair)
There was a serious fault or instability and the equipment could not continue to operate (unqualified)

FAQ From Customers
-
What is a Transformer?A transformer is an electrical device used to change the voltage of alternating current (AC). It works on the principle of electromagnetic induction, converting high-voltage current into low-voltage current or low-voltage current into high-voltage current. Transformers are widely used in power transmission, distribution systems, and various electronic devices.
-
What are the main uses of a transformer? The main use of a transformer is voltage conversion. Transformers are used in power transmission systems to help transfer electricity from power plants to consumers. In addition, transformers are also used in electronic devices such as chargers, televisions, power adapters, etc., to adjust the voltage to meet the requirements of different devices.
-
Do you have UL listed?Yes, our transformer has UL listed. We have exported to America many pad mounted transformer, substation transformer and HV.
