Packing and Shipping
First, the transformer body is fixed on a sturdy wooden pallet and cushioned with shockproof rubber pads to avoid shock and vibration during transportation. To prevent moisture and oxidation, the outside of the transformer is covered with a moisture-proof and rust-proof protective film to ensure that the equipment is not affected by the environment during transportation.
All oil valves and bushings are strictly sealed to avoid oil leakage. All accessories of the transformer, such as radiators and oil pillows, are individually packed in special wooden boxes to ensure that they are not affected by external forces during transportation.
The outer packaging of the transformer uses a steel frame or a sturdy wooden box, which can effectively resist external impact. During transportation, the transformer is firmly fixed to the transport vehicle and reinforced with strong straps to avoid any displacement or damage.
All necessary documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and test reports, will be prepared together. Any risks during transportation have been fully considered, and corresponding protective measures have been taken. After arriving at the destination, the transformer will be unloaded at the designated location and installed according to the installation instructions.
NPC ELECTRIC guarantees that the transformer will arrive safely and be put into use smoothly, ensuring the safety and stability of customers during use.

Manufacturer Test

Progress Test
During the manufacturing process of NPC ELECTRIC's 2000kVA oil-immersed transformers, multiple progress tests are carried out in strict accordance with international standards. First, after the initial manufacturing, electrical performance tests are carried out to ensure that the output voltage, current, and frequency of the transformer meet the design requirements. Next, temperature rise tests are carried out to verify the thermal stability and heat dissipation effect of the transformer under long-term operation. Subsequently, short-circuit tests are carried out to detect the transformer's tolerance and safety under short-circuit conditions. During the test, the insulation strength is also strictly tested to ensure the safety of the equipment in a high-voltage environment. Finally, all test data and reports are recorded in detail, and a complete test report is provided to the customer to ensure that the quality and performance of the transformer meet the use requirements. Through this series of tests, NPC ELECTRIC ensures that each 2000kVA oil-immersed transformer can be put into use stably and reliably.

Design Tests
All transformer will be test after finished the production, test items as below:
♦ Insulation Power Factor
♦ Ratio, Polarity, and Phase Relation
♦ Winding Resistance
♦ Impulse Tests
♦ On load Loss Test
♦ No Load Loss Test
♦ Leak Test
♦ DC Insulation Resistance Test
♦ Transformer Turns Ratio/TTR (All Tap Voltages)
♦ Impedance Voltage & Load Loss (Rated Voltage)
♦ Polarity, 1-Ph / Phase Relation, 3-Ph (Rated Voltage)
♦ Excitation & No-Load Loss (Rated Voltage)
♦ Applied Voltage
♦ Induced Voltage
♦ Lightning Impulse
♦ Insulation Resistance (Rated Voltage)
♦ Temperature Rise
♦ Dielectric Withstand (Hipot)

Transformer Factory Acceptance Test
NPC ELECTRIC's 2000kVA oil-immersed transformers will undergo a rigorous Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) before leaving the factory.
The test will include a comprehensive inspection of the transformer's various performances, including but not limited to no-load loss, load loss, winding DC resistance, and insulation resistance tests. In addition, the transformer's short-circuit impedance, oil dielectric strength, and its cooling system will be tested to ensure the reliability and safety of the equipment. All tests are carried out in accordance with international standards and customer requirements to ensure that the transformer can operate stably and long-term under extreme conditions. After the factory acceptance test, the transformer will be certified and ready for shipment.
We are committed to providing customers with high-quality and reliable transformer products to ensure that they achieve optimal performance in actual applications.
Routine Test - Temperature Rise
Heating source (e.g. electric heater, heater belt, or adjustable constant temperature heater, the specific power is selected according to the equipment requirements)
Temperature sensor (e.g. RTD sensor, thermocouple, to ensure accurate measurement)
Ensure that the connection terminals and wiring are firm to avoid looseness affecting the test results.
Test under suitable environmental conditions: relative humidity below 75%, no rain (recommended temperature: 20-30°C).
Connect the test instrument correctly to the electrical terminals and temperature measurement points of the device under test (such as windings, cores, oil temperature measurement elements, etc.).
Initial condition record:
Measure and record ambient temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure at the start of the test.
Make sure the device is cold at the start.
Temperature of each winding (by resistance method or temperature sensor)
Core temperature
Oil temperature (for oil-immersed equipment)
Current, voltage and power at the equipment end
Duration of load
Record changes in ambient temperature.
Class B insulation: ≤80°C temperature rise
Class F insulation: ≤100°C temperature rise)

FAQ From Customers
-
What is a Transformer?A transformer is an electrical device used to change the voltage of alternating current (AC). It works on the principle of electromagnetic induction, converting high-voltage current into low-voltage current or low-voltage current into high-voltage current. Transformers are widely used in power transmission, distribution systems, and various electronic devices.
-
What are the main uses of a transformer? The main use of a transformer is voltage conversion. Transformers are used in power transmission systems to help transfer electricity from power plants to consumers. In addition, transformers are also used in electronic devices such as chargers, televisions, power adapters, etc., to adjust the voltage to meet the requirements of different devices.
