Customization Optional
To accommodate various system voltages, NPC ELECTRIC provides dual voltage primary windings with externally operable multiple voltage switches, ensuring safe and efficient selection. In corrosive environments, durable options include 304 or 409 stainless steel for hardware and transformer tanks, enhancing longevity. Birdguards can be installed to prevent avian interference, improving reliability.
For environmentally conscious solutions, CSP transformers can be filled with Envirotemp™ FR3™ fluid, a biodegradable, less flammable alternative to conventional insulating oils. The transformer covers feature a minimum dielectric strength of 15 kV, ensuring superior insulation and protection. Porcelain low-voltage bushings further enhance electrical connection reliability.
Engineered to exceed DOE efficiency standards, these transformers promote energy savings and reduced operational costs. By integrating advanced protection, efficiency, and durability features, NPC ELECTRIC ensures that each CSP Single-Phase Pole-Mounted Transformer is tailored to specific application demands.
Packing and Shipping
The sea freight wooden crates are made from high-quality, durable wood, treated to prevent moisture damage, corrosion, and pests. The crate is also reinforced to withstand the rigors of sea transport, offering superior protection from shocks and vibrations.
To enhance safety and security, the transformer is securely mounted inside the crate with anti-shift supports. This prevents any movement during transit, reducing the risk of mechanical damage. Additionally, the crate is equipped with strong, secure fastening systems to keep the transformer in place.
We ensure that all wooden crates are fully compliant with international shipping regulations, including ISPM 15 standards, to prevent any issues with customs and quarantine procedures. This makes our packaging solution both reliable and cost-effective for global shipments.
In addition to robust packaging, we provide comprehensive shipping insurance for every transformer. This insurance covers potential risks during transit, such as damage, theft, or natural disasters. By offering this coverage, we ensure peace of mind for our clients, knowing their valuable equipment is protected throughout its journey.
Whether shipping to overseas projects or international clients, our wooden crate packaging, coupled with shipping insurance, guarantees that your transformer arrives in perfect condition, ready for installation. With careful design and attention to detail, we prioritize the safety, security, and integrity of your equipment throughout the shipping process.

Manufacturer Test

Progress Test
NPC Electric manufactures pad-mounted transformers the strict quality control from the raw material stage, including testing the performance of silicon steel sheets, amorphous alloy silicon steel sheets, copper coils, and aluminum coils, oil dielectric tests on insulating oil, and measuring the enclosure size and thickness of the transformer tank. Through comprehensive quality control throughout the production process, we ensure that each transformer meets high-quality standards and complies with IEEE, IEC, and ANSI international regulations.

Design Tests
All transformer will be test after finished the production, test items as below:
♦ Insulation Power Factor
♦ Ratio, Polarity, and Phase Relation
♦ Winding Resistance
♦ Impulse Tests
♦ On load Loss Test
♦ No Load Loss Test
♦ Leak Test
♦ DC Insulation Resistance Test
♦ Transformer Turns Ratio/TTR (All Tap Voltages)
♦ Impedance Voltage & Load Loss (Rated Voltage)
♦ Polarity, 1-Ph
♦ Excitation & No-Load Loss (Rated Voltage)
♦ Applied Voltage
♦ Induced Voltage
♦ Lightning Impulse
♦ Insulation Resistance (Rated Voltage)
♦ Temperature Rise
♦ Dielectric Withstand (Hipot)

Transformer Factory Acceptance Test
NPC Electric will have tests made for quality control by the manufacturer on every device or representative samples, or on parts or materials as required, to verify during production that the product meets the design specifications.
The Transformer Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for the 10kVA Completely Self-Protected (CSP) Single Phase Pole Mounted Transformer is a critical step to verify that the transformer meets all design and performance specifications before shipment.
During the FAT, the transformer undergoes a series of tests, including checks for input and output voltage, load performance, and the proper functioning of built-in protection mechanisms such as overcurrent, short-circuit, and overload protection.
Additionally, insulation resistance and dielectric strength tests are performed to ensure the transformer's electrical safety and reliability. The self-protection system is also tested to confirm it operates effectively in fault conditions, automatically disconnecting the transformer to prevent damage.
Successful completion of the FAT ensures that the transformer is fully compliant with quality standards and ready for safe and efficient operation in the field.
Routine Test - Polarity 1-Ph
Voltage source: usually 500 V, 1000 V or customized as needed
Environmental monitoring: Temperature and humidity meter (records ambient temperature and humidity)
Check the connection terminals and wiring to ensure that there is no looseness or contamination.
Test under suitable environmental conditions: relative humidity less than 75% and no rain (recommended temperature: 20-30°C).
Connect the test equipment to the bushing or terminal of the device under test and ensure proper grounding.
Apply Test Voltage:
Select the appropriate test voltage according to the rated voltage of the device. For single-phase systems, the applied voltage should comply with the equipment specifications (such as 220V or 380V, etc.).
Phase sequence: Confirm whether the phase sequence of the power supply is correct.
Polarity: Check whether the wiring meets the predetermined polarity (positive and negative terminals are connected correctly).
Voltage: The actual voltage value during the test.

FAQ From Customers
-
What is a Transformer?A transformer is an electrical device used to change the voltage of alternating current (AC). It works on the principle of electromagnetic induction, converting high-voltage current into low-voltage current or low-voltage current into high-voltage current. Transformers are widely used in power transmission, distribution systems, and various electronic devices.
-
What are the main uses of a transformer? The main use of a transformer is voltage conversion. Transformers are used in power transmission systems to help transfer electricity from power plants to consumers. In addition, transformers are also used in electronic devices such as chargers, televisions, power adapters, etc., to adjust the voltage to meet the requirements of different devices.
