Customization Optional
Common rated voltages on the high-voltage side include 10kV, 11kV, 13.8kV, and 15kV, which are customized according to grid standards and user needs in different regions. The optional low-voltage voltages on the low-voltage side include 220V, 240V, 380V, and 415V, which are suitable for different types of users, such as homes, commercial facilities or small industrial loads. Customized voltage levels can also be provided according to special needs.
The insulation level can be selected from Class A (105°C), Class B (130°C), Class F (155°C) or Class H (180°C). Select the appropriate insulation level according to the working environment and requirements of the transformer. Common choices for lightning impulse withstand voltage (BIL) include 75kV, 95kV, and 125kV, providing higher impulse resistance according to the lightning frequency and intensity in the area.
Regarding the type of transformer oil, choose mineral oil with good insulation performance and widely used in distribution networks. Biodegradable oil is suitable for areas with high environmental protection requirements, such as water source protection areas, forests and environmentally sensitive areas.
NPC ELECTRIC'S 50kVA Conventional Type Single Phase pole Mounted transformer offers a variety of optional specifications to meet the needs of different customers and application environments. Whether in terms of voltage, frequency, cooling method, protection device, material selection, or intelligent monitoring and environmental adaptability, customers can customize it according to actual conditions to ensure efficient, stable and reliable operation of the transformer to meet the requirements of different power grids and loads.
Packing and Shipping
The wooden boxes treated with heat or fumigation are in compliance with international customs standards (ISPM-15) and are suitable for export and sea transportation. Provide stronger structural protection to prevent external shock, stacking pressure and vibration from affecting the transformer. Fill foam pads, rubber supports or inflatable cushioning bags around the transformer to reduce vibration shock during transportation. Use high-density foam support structure to ensure that the transformer will not be displaced due to bumps during transportation. All electrical components of the transformer (such as windings, insulation parts) are wrapped with moisture-proof plastic film and vacuum-sealed to prevent water vapor from entering, which is particularly suitable for high humidity areas or sea transportation environments.
For international export or long-distance transportation, 20-foot or 40-foot containers are usually used. Transformers need to be treated with moisture and salt spray to ensure that long-term transportation at sea will not cause damage to the equipment. A dedicated flat rack container is available for extra-high and extra-wide transformers.
Before the transformer leaves the factory, the manufacturer will conduct a comprehensive quality inspection, including a packaging sealing test, to ensure that the equipment will not be damaged by the external environment. Check the labels, nameplates and technical documents to ensure that all information is complete and correct.
NPC ELECTRIC'S 50kVA Conventional Type Single Phase pole Mounted transformer has taken a series of strict protective measures during packaging and transportation to ensure that the product can be safely delivered and put into use under various environmental conditions. Through standard packaging, reinforced packaging and customized packaging, combined with the reasonable choice of land, sea and air transportation, the risk of transportation damage can be effectively reduced and the transformer can be put into operation normally at the end user.

Manufacturer Test

Progress Test
NPC ELECTRIC'S 50kVA Conventional Type Single Phase pole Mounted transformer manufacturing process testing ensures that technical standards and quality requirements are met during the production process. The testing covers key items such as core loss test, winding resistance measurement, insulation resistance test, partial discharge test and transformation ratio test. During the core assembly stage, the flux density and core loss are tested to ensure that the materials and processes meet the design requirements, thereby reducing no-load losses. After the winding is completed, DC resistance test and turn-to-turn insulation test are carried out to detect the winding quality and prevent short circuit or turn-to-turn failure. Each key step in the production process is strictly tested to ensure that the transformer meets international standards (such as IEC, ANSI, IEEE or GB) and ultimately meets the technical specifications of customers.

Design Tests
All transformer will be test after finished the production, test items as below:
♦ Insulation Power Factor
♦ Ratio, Polarity, and Phase Relation
♦ Winding Resistance
♦ Impulse Tests
♦ On load Loss Test
♦ No Load Loss Test
♦ Leak Test
♦ DC Insulation Resistance Test
♦ Transformer Turns Ratio/TTR (All Tap Voltages)
♦ Impedance Voltage & Load Loss (Rated Voltage)
♦ Polarity, 1-Ph
♦ Excitation & No-Load Loss (Rated Voltage)
♦ Applied Voltage
♦ Induced Voltage
♦ Lightning Impulse
♦ Insulation Resistance (Rated Voltage)
♦ Temperature Rise
♦ Dielectric Withstand (Hipot)

Transformer Factory Acceptance Test
NPC ELECTRIC'S 50kVA Conventional Type Single Phase pole Mounted transformer50kVA factory acceptance test is to ensure that the transformer meets the design standards and quality requirements. The test content usually includes winding resistance, insulation withstand voltage, ratio test, short circuit and no-load loss measurement, etc., to verify whether its performance and reliability meet the specifications.
Routine Test - No Load Loss Test
Voltage source (usually 230V, 400V or customized according to customer requirements to adapt to different equipment)
Power analyzer (used to measure power loss and efficiency)
Ammeter and voltmeter
Temperature and humidity meter
Please ensure that the test is carried out in a suitable environment with a relative humidity of less than 75% and avoid rainy days or extreme weather (recommended temperature range: 20-30°C).
Connect the test equipment to the high voltage side of the transformer, making sure the wiring is correct and the equipment is grounded.
Apply Test Voltage:
Usually it is 110% of the rated voltage, for example, if the rated voltage of the transformer is 33 KV, apply 36.3 KV (110%).

FAQ From Customers
-
What is a Transformer?A transformer is an electrical device used to change the voltage of alternating current (AC). It works on the principle of electromagnetic induction, converting high-voltage current into low-voltage current or low-voltage current into high-voltage current. Transformers are widely used in power transmission, distribution systems, and various electronic devices.
-
What are the main uses of a transformer? The main use of a transformer is voltage conversion. Transformers are used in power transmission systems to help transfer electricity from power plants to consumers. In addition, transformers are also used in electronic devices such as chargers, televisions, power adapters, etc., to adjust the voltage to meet the requirements of different devices.
