Packing and Shipping
First, the transformer body is firmly fixed on a heavy wooden pallet to ensure that it will not move or be damaged during transportation. To reduce shock, all contact surfaces are protected with rubber pads to prevent vibration from causing damage to the equipment. The transformer's oil tank and all valves are sealed to prevent oil leakage.
The exterior is wrapped with a moisture-proof and rust-proof film to prevent external moisture from affecting the interior of the equipment. The external packaging of the transformer uses a sturdy wooden box that can withstand external impacts and ensure the safety of the transformer during transportation. The lifting position and precautions are clearly marked on the packaging box to prevent misoperation during transportation. In order to prevent the transformer from being affected by the external climate, a silicone desiccant is also included in the packaging to keep the equipment dry. All accessories, such as bushings, oil pillows, radiators, etc., are packed separately and placed in sturdy wooden boxes.
Important documents such as product manuals, test reports, warranty cards, etc., are placed in special document bags and transported with the goods. During transportation, the transformers are placed on flatbeds and secured with strong straps to prevent slipping. For international transport by sea and land, transformers are generally transported in containers or bulk carriers, with the best method selected based on the destination requirements.
Overall, the packaging and transportation of NPC ELECTRIC's 1600kVA oil-immersed transformers strictly follow international standards throughout the entire process, ensuring that the transformers reach customers safely and on time, maintaining the best performance and reliability of the equipment.

Manufacturer Test

Progress Test
During the manufacturing process of NPC ELECTRIC's 1600kVA oil-immersed transformers, strict raw material inspections are first carried out to ensure that all components meet high standards. Next, the various components of the transformer will be assembled on a professional production line and undergo preliminary mechanical strength tests. The transformer then enters the oil immersion process to ensure that the quality and sealing of the oil meet international standards. Subsequent high-voltage and load tests will verify the stability and reliability of the transformer in actual working conditions. Finally, after comprehensive inspection and testing, the transformer will be accompanied by a detailed test report and certificate of conformity to ensure that the performance is fully in line with expectations when it is delivered to the customer.

Design Tests
All transformer will be test after finished the production, test items as below:
♦ Insulation Power Factor
♦ Ratio, Polarity, and Phase Relation
♦ Winding Resistance
♦ Impulse Tests
♦ On load Loss Test
♦ No Load Loss Test
♦ Leak Test
♦ DC Insulation Resistance Test
♦ Transformer Turns Ratio/TTR (All Tap Voltages)
♦ Impedance Voltage & Load Loss (Rated Voltage)
♦ Polarity, 1-Ph / Phase Relation, 3-Ph (Rated Voltage)
♦ Excitation & No-Load Loss (Rated Voltage)
♦ Applied Voltage
♦ Induced Voltage
♦ Lightning Impulse
♦ Insulation Resistance (Rated Voltage)
♦ Temperature Rise
♦ Dielectric Withstand (Hipot)

Transformer Factory Acceptance Test
NPC ELECTRIC's 1600kVA oil-immersed transformers are manufactured and tested in strict accordance with international standards.
First, the core and coil parts of the transformer are manufactured on high-precision equipment to ensure stable and reliable electrical performance. Subsequently, all components are preliminarily assembled and strictly quality checked to ensure that each part meets the design requirements. All test data are recorded in detail and compared with the design parameters to ensure that the product meets the performance standards. Finally, after the final appearance and function inspection, the transformer will be packaged and prepared for shipment.
Through this series of rigorous testing and verification, NPC ELECTRIC ensures that each 1600kVA oil-immersed transformer can operate stably at the customer's site and meet high standards of use.
Routine Test - Winding Resistance
Test voltage source (commonly used are 6V, 10V, 20V, 40V or 100V, depending on the equipment model or customer requirements)
Temperature and humidity meter (used to record the ambient temperature and humidity during the test)
Disconnect the electrical connection between the test cable and the equipment to ensure that there is no external current or voltage interference.
Select a suitable voltage range for testing and set the test voltage according to the equipment requirements.
Connect the test equipment to the winding terminals of the device under test, making sure the connections are secure and properly grounded to avoid measurement errors.
Apply Test Voltage:
Select the appropriate test current according to the equipment specifications (such as test current for low-voltage windings, single-phase or three-phase windings).
Winding resistance (usually expressed in units of "Ω")
Test current (A)
Test voltage (V)
Temperature (record the winding temperature before and after the test)
Resistance deviation is between 5% and 10% (warning)
Resistance deviation exceeds 10% (further inspection or corrective action is required)

FAQ From Customers
-
What is a Transformer?A transformer is an electrical device used to change the voltage of alternating current (AC). It works on the principle of electromagnetic induction, converting high-voltage current into low-voltage current or low-voltage current into high-voltage current. Transformers are widely used in power transmission, distribution systems, and various electronic devices.
-
What are the main uses of a transformer? The main use of a transformer is voltage conversion. Transformers are used in power transmission systems to help transfer electricity from power plants to consumers. In addition, transformers are also used in electronic devices such as chargers, televisions, power adapters, etc., to adjust the voltage to meet the requirements of different devices.
