Customization Optional
The optional specifications for the 75kVA Completely Self-Protected (CSP) Single Phase Pole Mounted Transformer offer flexibility to meet specific power distribution needs and environmental conditions.
These options include various input voltage levels, such as 11kV, 13.8kV, or other regional standards, allowing compatibility with different grid systems. The output voltage can be customized, typically offering configurations like 230V or 400V, to suit the particular requirements of the installation.
Additionally, in regions with challenging environmental conditions, customers can choose from options like corrosion-resistant coatings, weatherproof enclosures, and high-grade insulation materials to ensure the transformer's durability and reliability over time.
These customizable options make the 75kVA CSP transformer adaptable to a wide range of applications and conditions, ensuring safe and efficient power distribution.
Packing and Shipping
For this purpose, the packing of the 75kVA Completely Self-Protected (CSP) Single Phase Pole Mounted Transformer is a crucial process that ensures the product's integrity during transit.
The transformer is first wrapped in a high - quality anti - moisture plastic sheet. This sheet acts as a shield against humidity, protecting the internal electrical components from corrosion and potential damage caused by moisture ingress. It forms a tight seal around the transformer, preventing any water vapor from reaching the sensitive parts.
Over the plastic sheet, a thick layer of shock-absorbing foam is applied. This foam is carefully cut and shaped to fit the contours of the transformer, especially focusing on the corners and edges, which are most vulnerable to impacts. The foam serves to cushion the transformer from any sudden jolts or vibrations that may occur during handling and transportation.
The wrapped and foamed transformer is then placed into a custom-made wooden crate. The crate is designed with precision to match the exact dimensions of the transformer, providing a snug fit. Inside the crate, there are adjustable wooden braces and brackets that firmly hold the transformer in place, preventing it from moving around. The crate is also reinforced with metal bands at the corners and along the edges to enhance its structural strength.
On the exterior of the crate, clear and prominent labels are affixed. These labels include important information such as "Fragile", "This Side Up", "Keep Dry", and details about the transformer, like its model number, capacity (75kVA), and weight. Additionally, there are handling instructions in multiple languages to ensure that the crate is handled correctly at every stage of the shipping process.
Depending on the destination and the urgency of delivery, an appropriate mode of transport is chosen. For long-distance domestic shipments, trucks are often the preferred option due to their flexibility and relatively low cost. For international shipments, a combination of sea freight and land transport may be used. If the delivery is time-sensitive, air freight can also be considered.
When loading the transformer onto the transport vehicle, specialized equipment such as cranes and forklifts is used to ensure a safe and proper lift. Once on the vehicle, the crate is secured using heavy-duty straps and chains. These are tightened to prevent any movement of the crate during transit, even when the vehicle encounters rough roads or makes sudden stops.

Manufacturer Test

Progress Test
NPC Electric manufactures pad-mounted transformers have the strict quality control. The progress test for the 75kVA Completely Self-Protected (CSP) Single Phase Pole Mounted Transformer is a critical series of inspections conducted throughout the manufacturing process to ensure the transformer meets all technical specifications and safety requirements. During the test, key parameters such as input and output voltage, load performance, and the functionality of the built-in protection systems (including overload, short-circuit, and over-voltage protection) are thoroughly verified. Additionally, insulation resistance and dielectric strength tests are performed to confirm the transformer's electrical integrity. The self-protection mechanism is also tested to ensure it will automatically disconnect the transformer in case of fault conditions, safeguarding the system. These progress tests help identify any issues early in the production process, ensuring the transformer will perform reliably and safely in the field.

Design Tests
All transformer will be test after finished the production, test items as below:
♦ Insulation Power Factor
♦ Ratio, Polarity, and Phase Relation
♦ Winding Resistance
♦ Impulse Tests
♦ On load Loss Test
♦ No Load Loss Test
♦ Leak Test
♦ DC Insulation Resistance Test
♦ Transformer Turns Ratio/TTR (All Tap Voltages)
♦ Impedance Voltage & Load Loss (Rated Voltage)
♦ Polarity, 1-Ph
♦ Excitation & No-Load Loss (Rated Voltage)
♦ Applied Voltage
♦ Induced Voltage
♦ Lightning Impulse
♦ Insulation Resistance (Rated Voltage)
♦ Temperature Rise
♦ Dielectric Withstand (Hipot)

Transformer Factory Acceptance Test
NPC Electric will have tests made for quality control by the manufacturer on every device or representative samples, or on parts or materials as required, to verify during production that the product meets the design specifications.
The factory acceptance test of the 75kVA fully self-protected (CSP) single-phase pole-mounted transformer was carried out in strict accordance with relevant standards and technical requirements.
In terms of electrical performance, a ratio test was carried out to ensure that the voltage conversion meets the design value, and no-load tests and short-circuit tests were carried out to accurately determine the loss and evaluate the operating efficiency.
At the same time, insulation resistance, dielectric loss factor, and partial discharge tests were used to comprehensively test the insulation performance to ensure its safe operation.
In terms of mechanical performance testing, the appearance, size, structural integrity, and firmness of component connections of the transformer were carefully inspected to ensure that it can adapt to the installation and operation environment on the outdoor pole.
In addition, the self-protection function was tested to verify that the transformer can quickly and reliably start the protection mechanism under abnormal conditions such as overload and short circuit.
Through systematic analysis and evaluation of various test data, it is finally determined whether the transformer meets the factory delivery conditions to ensure its stable and efficient operation in actual applications.
Routine Test - Impulse Tests
Voltage divider (used to measure impulse voltage waveform, resistor divider or capacitor divider)
Oscilloscope (used to record impulse waveform, common brands such as Tektronix, Keysight)
Calibrate and check the impulse voltage generator, measurement system, and control system to ensure that the instruments and equipment are in good condition and meet the test standards.
Connect the impulse voltage generator correctly to each winding terminal (high voltage terminal, ground terminal) of the device under test, and ensure that all test instruments are well grounded.
Apply Test Voltage:
Select the appropriate impulse voltage waveform and amplitude according to the rated voltage of the equipment
Front Time
Time to Half-Value
Peak Voltage
Distortion
Ambient temperature and humidity (especially when the test environment needs to be corrected)
If the waveform deviation is too large, adjust the impulse generator parameters and reapply the test.
In special cases, inter-winding impact, voltage-to-ground impact or coil corner impact are performed (according to the test plan).
Waveforms are stable and meet standard specifications.
Waveform variations between repeated tests are minimal (usually good waveform overlap with no noticeable abnormal excursions).
