Packing and Shipping
The transformer body is fixed on a high-strength wooden pallet to ensure stability during transportation. Anti-vibration rubber pads are used to reduce vibration and impact that may occur during transportation. The outside of the equipment is covered with a moisture-proof and rust-proof protective film to prevent moisture or corrosion.
Sturdy wooden boxes or steel frames are used for packaging to ensure that the transformer is not damaged during long-distance transportation. Warning signs such as "hoisting position", "upward placement", and "moisture-proof and shock-proof" are clearly marked on the outside of the package. Silicone desiccant is installed in key locations to prevent moisture from entering the equipment.
When lifting the transformer, special lifting ears, lifting rings, or slings are used to ensure safe handling. During transportation, high-strength straps are used to fix it, and anti-slip mats and support blocks are placed in the carriage to prevent the equipment from moving. Standard export documents such as packing list, commercial invoice, bill of lading, product inspection report, and certificate of conformity are provided.
This packaging and transportation solution ensures that the NPC ELECTRIC 750kVA oil-immersed transformer is safe and reliable during the logistics process, and ensures that the equipment can be put into normal use after arriving at the destination.

Manufacturer Test

Progress Test
During the transformer production process, NPC ELECTRIC will conduct preliminary insulation tests to ensure that the electrical performance of each component meets the design requirements. Then, a load test is carried out to verify the efficiency and stability of the transformer under normal load. A partial discharge test is carried out to ensure that the insulation system of the transformer is not damaged and can maintain good insulation performance during long-term operation. After completion, a temperature rise test is carried out to simulate the thermal state of the transformer during operation to ensure that it can operate safely in a high-temperature environment. Finally, a comprehensive quality inspection report is provided, including all test data, to ensure that the transformer meets international standards and is ready for delivery.

Design Tests
All transformer will be test after finished the production, test items as below:
♦ Insulation Power Factor
♦ Ratio, Polarity, and Phase Relation
♦ Winding Resistance
♦ Impulse Tests
♦ On load Loss Test
♦ No Load Loss Test
♦ Leak Test
♦ DC Insulation Resistance Test
♦ Transformer Turns Ratio/TTR (All Tap Voltages)
♦ Impedance Voltage & Load Loss (Rated Voltage)
♦ Polarity, 1-Ph / Phase Relation, 3-Ph (Rated Voltage)
♦ Excitation & No-Load Loss (Rated Voltage)
♦ Applied Voltage
♦ Induced Voltage
♦ Lightning Impulse
♦ Insulation Resistance (Rated Voltage)
♦ Temperature Rise
♦ Dielectric Withstand (Hipot)

Transformer Factory Acceptance Test
Before the 750kVA oil-immersed transformers manufactured by NPC ELECTRIC leave the factory, we conduct a rigorous factory acceptance test (FAT) to ensure that the transformers meet international standards and customer requirements and can operate efficiently and safely in actual use.
The appearance of the transformer is fully inspected to ensure that there is no obvious transportation damage, oil leakage, stains, or manufacturing defects. The appearance of the transformer is fully inspected to ensure that there is no obvious transportation damage, oil leakage, stains, or manufacturing defects.
During the load test, the temperature rise, noise, vibration, and other data of the transformer will be recorded to ensure that the transformer will not overheat or have abnormal phenomena. A short-circuit impedance test is carried out to check the performance of the transformer under short-circuit conditions.
After completing all tests, the technicians will write a detailed test report, including the results, data records, test standards, and compliance of all test items, etc., which will be provided to customers and relevant quality control departments for reference.
Routine Test - Polarity 1-Ph
Voltage source: usually 500 V, 1000 V or customized as needed
Environmental monitoring: Temperature and humidity meter (records ambient temperature and humidity)
Check the connection terminals and wiring to ensure that there is no looseness or contamination.
Test under suitable environmental conditions: relative humidity less than 75% and no rain (recommended temperature: 20-30°C).
Connect the test equipment to the bushing or terminal of the device under test and ensure proper grounding.
Apply Test Voltage:
Select the appropriate test voltage according to the rated voltage of the device. For single-phase systems, the applied voltage should comply with the equipment specifications (such as 220V or 380V, etc.).
Phase sequence: Confirm whether the phase sequence of the power supply is correct.
Polarity: Check whether the wiring meets the predetermined polarity (positive and negative terminals are connected correctly).
Voltage: The actual voltage value during the test.

FAQ From Customers
-
What is a Transformer?A transformer is an electrical device used to change the voltage of alternating current (AC). It works on the principle of electromagnetic induction, converting high-voltage current into low-voltage current or low-voltage current into high-voltage current. Transformers are widely used in power transmission, distribution systems, and various electronic devices.
-
What are the main uses of a transformer? The main use of a transformer is voltage conversion. Transformers are used in power transmission systems to help transfer electricity from power plants to consumers. In addition, transformers are also used in electronic devices such as chargers, televisions, power adapters, etc., to adjust the voltage to meet the requirements of different devices.
